The Music Parents Association sponsors several fundraisers throughout the year to support the music programs and students at Midland High.

MHS CHEMIC MUSIC CARD BLITZ NIGHT

BLITZ NIGHT IS Thursday, SEPTEMBER 22, 2011
The MHS Chemic Music Card is credit card-sized discount card and features terrific offers from 24 local businesses! Unlike one-time use coupons, simply by presenting the card at the participating area businesses, you receive the offered discount over and over!

Letter sent to all parents with list of incentives

The Chemic Music Card offers year-round discounts for food, merchandise and services including oil changes and menu planning! The offers are good through September 30th, 2011!!!  

Pre-orders are available mid-August through September 20 - The cards are only $10.00! For your convenience, there are several ways to purchase cards:

Proceeds support the MHS Band, Choir and Orchestra. This fund-raiser is Midland High's counterpart to Dow High's winter fruit sale which is supported by the entire community.

YARD SIGNS
Awesome Chemic Music yard signs are made of wood and shaped like a musical note. They are painted in Midland High blue with "Chemic Music" and the MHS logo applied with gold vinyl lettering. Student's last name and choice of word are placed on the top flag. Signs are $43.00. Additional words for the second flag will cost $3.75

SWEATSHIRTS
Show your Chemic Pride at MHS music events (games, festivals, concerts, etc.)! Parent sweatshirts are men’s navy 9 oz. heavy weight fabric. An appliquéd “M” in blue and gold plaid is on the center chest. A gold banner weaves across the “M” with the words “Chemic Music” in navy. In gold script on the left sleeve will be your student’s first name, year of graduation and musical instrument OR choral symbol (staff with music notes, or “Chorus”, or “Meistersingers”). If your student is in more than one musical group, (example: band and choir) you may add another symbol to the sleeve for an extra charge. If you have more than one student in the music program at MHS, you may add embroidery to the other sleeve for an extra charge.

KROGER CARES REWARD PROGRAM
During the 2010-2011 school year, we earned $1,200 by having 26 families signed up!   Help us earn even more this year by signing up too.

If you shop at Kroger, you can earn 5% of some purchases for the Chemic Music Program of your choice (band/ orchestra/ vocal music). Rewards for Chemic Music are linked to use of your Kroger Plus Card. Kroger Plus Cards are available at no charge, and enable the user to save money on in-store specials.

If you DO NOT have a Kroger Plus Card, you must apply for one to participate in the Community Rewards Program. Applications are available at the Kroger Customer Service Desk. 

Once you have a Kroger Plus Card, you register online. See the prompts below. Please note - you will have to become an online user to access Kroger Community Rewards. You must give an email address and specify a password. 


TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:
Step by step instructions:

Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com

Click Michigan

Click Re-enroll if you were registered in the program last year.

  1. Put in your e-mail

  2. Put in your password -(If you forgot the password you set up, follow the “Forgot your password” link)

  3. Type in the MHSMPA organization name and NPO number:
    Midland H. S. Music Parents Assoc.
    NPO number 83406

  4. Click the Select Your Organization

  5. Click the Save Changes

Click Enroll If you have never been a part of KrogerCommunityRewards.com. Have your Kroger Plus Card ready. If you use your phone number at the register, call 1(877)576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus Card number.

  1. Sign up today (to the right)

  2. Enter your zip code and click Search

  3. Click on the arrow to display the list of stores in your zip code and highlight your preferred store

  4. Enter in your email and password

  5. Click Next

  6. Key in your Kroger Plus Card Number (if it says that this card has already been used, please call the number on the back of your card)

  7. Enter the security code (from the box above it)

  8. Enter in your contact information

  9. Click on Next

  10. Verify that your account information is correct. Check box for agreement of the terms and conditions and click Complete Information

  11. Kroger will send an email that you entered earlier in the process (this can take up to 10 minutes)

  12. Open the email that Kroger sent. Read the email and either click on the link within the email, or copy and paste it into your browser

  13. Sign in: click on the “Click here" button and then type in your email and password

  14. Under Kroger Community Rewards Section at right, click Edit Kroger Community Rewards Information

  15. Find your organization by typing in your organization’s name or NPO number
    Midland H. S. Music Parents Assoc.
    NPO 83406

  16. Click on the organization name that you want. Please make sure that you click on the circle to the left of your organization so that it becomes highlighted

  17. Click on Save Changes

  18. Scroll over the page and make sure all information is accurate

You are now registered!
Scan your Kroger Plus Card each time you shop to earn rewards for Chemic Music! 

In the 2009-2010 school year, Kroger Community Rewards were over $1600!
