2025-2026 School Year Opportunities

Marching Band Uniform Distribution: August
We need lots of volunteers to help uniform distribution run smoothly. All band members must be fit for their uniforms by our first home game on September 5th! Help distribute pants, jackets, and accessories. Give a couple hours of your time to make a BIG difference!

Chemic Card Blitz Night: Sep. 24
Our big fundraising event for the fall supports the purchase and repair of instruments, uniforms for all disciplines, subsidizing traveling performance opportunities, music purchases, and performance-related expenses. Blitz night is when we gather all of the music students with drivers and go out in groups across Midland to assigned routes going door to door selling Chemic cards to support our amazing music program. This night has historically resulted in over $20,000 of sales with each route averaging nearly $400, so it is a very important fundraiser event and a lot of fun for the kids to go out in groups. We need your help to make this a success. Having enough drivers is the number one most CRITICAL factor for this to be a success.
All Blitz Night drivers must have a level 2 MPS District Volunteer Application finished online ASAP! (This application needs to be updated each school year.) Link to the application found in the Sign-up Genius.

Marching Band Showcase
A collaborative event with DHS, this concert is held in Midland Community Stadium and invites bands across the region to join us in a musical extraordinaire. We are in need of greeters to meet bands at their buses and walk them to their assigned seating at the stadium. MHS is also in charge of ticketing at the Eastlawn entrance gate and will need volunteers to man that station.
